A Dream - Unleashing brilliance in a safe and limitless space
How it began
10xTechClub was born in 2022, but its roots trace back to a single question its founder, Rajesh Shah, asked himself during the pandemic: “How do we prepare our kids for a future we can barely predict?”
Rajesh, an IIT alumnus, spent over 25 years building cutting-edge products for global giants like TCS, Cisco, and Avaya in fields ranging from semiconductors to cloud computing and cybersecurity. But as he watched his own children—full of curiosity and untapped potential—search for meaningful ways to learn and create, he realized something profound. Traditional education, though important, wasn’t equipping young minds for the challenges of an AI-driven, tech-dominated world.
The pandemic highlighted the gap. Rajesh saw kids eager to explore but limited to online classes that often lacked depth or real-world connection. The more he searched for a place where his kids could learn not just coding or robotics, but truly prepare for the future, the clearer it became: he needed to build it himself.
He imagined a space where students wouldn’t just study history but make their own; where they wouldn’t just learn theory but apply it to solve the pressing problems of today—climate change, sustainable energy, and global health challenges. And thus, 10xTechClub came to life: a hands-on accelerator for young minds to explore emerging technologies like AI, 3D Printing, Robotics, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Nanotechnology, SpaceTech, and more.
But Rajesh knew tools alone wouldn’t be enough. It’s not just about mastering technology; it’s about developing the right mindset—grit, curiosity, and the ability to see failure as a stepping stone. It’s about equipping students with frameworks like First Principles Thinking and Systems Thinking and fostering real-world skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership.
For Rajesh, 10xTC is more than a lab or a classroom. It’s a safe space where students feel valued, can explore freely, and are encouraged to dream big without fear of failure. He believes every student has brilliance waiting to be unlocked. They just need the right environment to grow, tools to create, and guidance to ignite their limitless potential.
